How does the contest work?
If you want to make a nomination, do so during the nomination period. After the nomination period, the contest will open up for voting. Vote for your favorite nomination and get your friends to do the same! The top 10 nominations with the most votes during the voting period will be named as "finalists". One of these finalists will win an award... plus bragging rights of being the best in the area!

How often are the nominations and votes updated?
Once you submit a nomination, it will go under review. The nomination will be approved or rejected (based on valid information) within 72 business hours. During the voting period, your vote will be reflected soon after you submit it.

Are there prizes?
The top 10 nominations with the most votes will be invited to their local High School Sports Awards Banquet, during which the final winner will be announced and presented with an award.
